Passover begins with the first Seder on April 6, 2012.
For Hillel to coordinate and provide Seders and other Passover experiences to the Jewish students at Emory comes at considerable cost. Please help ensure that every Jewish student has access to a unique, meaningful Passover experience this year.
Hillel
at
Emory is proud to announce the fourth annual Seder-to-Go
program. Now you can host a Passover seder with your own
friends, in your own space, in your own style. You invite your
friends--we'll
help with everything else!
What
can Hillel provide?
Your Seder2Go kit will include haggadot, matzah, seder plate (with
ritual
items), haroset, marror (horseradish), parsely, kippot (yarmulkes),
kosher
grape juice, candles, catering menus, plates, cups, kiddush cups,
utensils,
napkins. Hillel will also offer a special workshop for seder leaders
(required
to receive the mini-grant) and a mini-grant to help subsidize the cost
of
meals. You
will be able to pick-up
your seder-to-go kit from Hillel on April 5.
How does the Mini-Grant
work?
Hillel will reimburse $5 per Emory student at your seder, or the total
cost of
your receipts, whichever is less. You must submit a sign-in sheet and
copies of
your receipts by April 13 to receive your mini-grant. Hillel will not
reimburse
for leavened bread, shellfish products, pork products, or alcohol.
