JBiz Roundtable

The JBiz Roundtable is a program designed to connect a small group of business-oriented students to successful Jewish entrepreneurs and corporate executives in Atlanta & beyond. Developed by Hillel at Emory, this exclusive program combines networking, intimate professional counseling, peer-to-peer problem-solving and civic activism. JBiz is funded in part by the Ramie A. Tritt Family Foundation.

WHY JOIN?

  • Gain insight into real life experience and access to successful entrepreneurs and corporate executives
  • Access critical knowledge you can’t learn in the classroom – only in the boardroom or in intimate settings with CEOs and entrepreneurs
  • Start networking with Emory colleagues for future business networks
  • Be part of an exclusive group of veteran, new, and future entrepreneurs and executives

ACTIVITIES AND INTIATIVES

Exclusive Encounters
There are three lunch roundtable discussions per semester with Jewish business leaders, who discuss their paths to success, models of business excellence and views of civic and Jewish responsibility.

CEO Consultant Council
Hillel recruits outstanding Jewish entrepreneurs, CEOs and senior managers, who run successful businesses to serve as advisors to participants.

These business leaders can be contacted to meet JBiz participants to provide academic and career advice, networking tips, and further forms of assistance as personal relationships develop. (These advisors are not responsible for helping you get job interviews.)

STUDENT RUN

An Executive Committee of students maintains JBiz activities and governs the program. A Network Coordinator fosters group cohesiveness and provide a way for JBiz participants to keep connected after graduation.
